1. Parties

This Agreement is between Mektropolis / its owners, operators, developers, affiliates, licensors, contractors, and representatives (“Mektropolis”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and you, the tester / participant / user (“Tester”, “you”, “your”).

2. Purpose of Alpha Access

You are being granted limited access to an early in-development Alpha Test version of the game currently known as Mektropolis solely for:

• internal testing
• bug identification
• gameplay balancing feedback
• usability feedback
• technical performance testing
• general product improvement

Your participation is for testing purposes only and not for commercial, review, publicity, or public release purposes.

3. Alpha Status / No Final Product Representation

You acknowledge and agree that Mektropolis is currently in Alpha development and may contain:

• bugs
• crashes
• incomplete systems
• placeholder content
• missing features
• balancing issues
• data wipes
• unstable performance
• server interruptions
• unfinished visuals/audio
• experimental systems

Nothing shown in the Alpha Test represents a promise of final content, release timing, functionality, or future availability.

All gameplay systems, visuals, mechanics, business models, blockchain integrations, assets, names, features, and release plans may be changed, delayed, replaced, or removed at any time.

4. Confidentiality / NDA Obligations

All Alpha access is confidential.

You agree that without prior written permission from Mektropolis, you will not disclose, publish, distribute, stream, transmit, upload, or discuss confidential aspects of the Alpha Test publicly.

This includes but is not limited to:

• gameplay footage
• screenshots
• livestreams
• recordings
• reviews
• previews
• written impressions
• social media commentary
• feature lists
• bugs or exploits
• patch notes
• internal communications
• business systems
• economy systems
• blockchain / Ravencoin integrations
• unreleased assets or designs
• opinions presented as final product judgments

You may provide feedback privately through approved official channels only.

5. No Public Reviews / No Public Ratings

You agree not to publish or encourage public reviews, ratings, rankings, scores, or public product judgments regarding the Alpha Test without prior written permission.

You acknowledge Alpha software is unfinished and not representative of a commercial release product.

6. Ownership / Intellectual Property

All rights in Mektropolis and all related content remain exclusively owned by Mektropolis and/or its licensors.

This includes:

• game code
• mechanics
• branding
• faction names
• lore
• artwork
• models
• music
• systems
• blockchain integrations
• updates
• all derivative works

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

7. Limited License

You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial license to access the Alpha Test solely for internal testing purposes under this Agreement.

We may suspend, revoke, restrict, or terminate access at any time without notice.

8. Feedback License

Any suggestions, bug reports, comments, ideas, balance proposals, or feedback you provide may be used freely by Mektropolis without compensation, attribution, restriction, or obligation.

9. Rules of Conduct

You agree not to:

• cheat, hack, exploit, reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper
• attempt unauthorized access to systems or servers
• interfere with other testers
• distribute files or builds
• sell access
• share accounts
• impersonate staff
• scrape data
• use bots or automation unless approved for testing

10. Data / Resets / Wipes

You understand Alpha progress may be reset, deleted, rolled back, or lost at any time.

Characters, assets, inventory, progression, statistics, blockchain-linked systems, and accounts may change or be removed.

No compensation is owed for any such changes.

11. Assumption of Risk / Disclaimer

The Alpha Test software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You access and use the Alpha Test entirely at your own risk.

We do not warrant that the software will be:

• error free
• secure
• uninterrupted
• compatible with your system
• free from harmful defects
• suitable for any purpose

12. Hardware / Software / Data Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mektropolis shall not be liable for:

• hardware issues
• overheating
• crashes
• software conflicts
• data corruption
• file loss
• operating system issues
• network interruptions
• third-party software conflicts
• performance degradation
• peripheral malfunctions
• loss of time
• loss of profits
• indirect or consequential damages

You are responsible for maintaining backups, antivirus protection, system security, and suitable hardware.

13. Health / Safety

You should stop playing immediately if you experience discomfort, seizures, dizziness, nausea, repetitive strain symptoms, distress, or any adverse physical reaction.

You are responsible for taking breaks and ensuring safe use.

14. Privacy / Monitoring

We may collect gameplay telemetry, crash logs, performance data, submitted feedback, and related technical information to improve the game and services, subject to applicable privacy law.

15. Termination

We may remove your Alpha access at any time, with or without cause, including for breach of this Agreement.

Upon termination, you must cease use and delete all Alpha files if requested.

16. Injunctive Relief

You acknowledge unauthorized disclosure of confidential Alpha content may cause serious harm. We may seek injunctive relief and other remedies.

17. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

18. Entire Agreement

This Agreement governs your Alpha participation and supersedes prior informal understandings relating to Alpha access.

19. Acceptance

By clicking I Agree, registering, downloading, installing, or launching the Alpha Test, you confirm that:

• you are legally capable of entering this Agreement
• you understand the software is unfinished
• you accept confidentiality obligations
• you accept the risk of Alpha participation
• you agree not to publish unauthorized reviews or disclosures
